Return and withdrawal policy

Dear Client,
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may notify us of your intent to return the product within 14 days from the delivery date of the purchase.
 
How to return your purchase?

Our Customer Service department shall promptly contact you and provide you with the necessary instructions to return the purchase. 
In the meantime, we kindly ask that you ensure the Products are returned in their original condition together with the purchase receipt, original packaging, user manuals and any accessories. Please note that you are liable for any reduction in value of the Products caused by handling that is different to that required to verify its content, characteristics and functioning.  
You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the Products. 
 
When and how will I get a refund?
 
You shall be refunded within 14 days from the date of notifying the withdrawal. Safilo reserves the right to suspend the refund until it has received the Product and checked that it has been returned in its original condition. Once the refund has been processed, you shall receive a confirmation email. 
The refund method shall be the same as the original payment method, in any case you shall not incur any costs as a consequence of the refund. 
Polaroideyewear.com accepts returns for products purchased exclusively through this website. Any Product purchased at Safilo authorised stores shall have to be returned at those stores.

Warranty information

Dear Client,
Safilo provides a warranty against any material or manufacturing defects reported within two years from the relevant delivery date, pursuant to Directive 99/44/EC, the national law transposing said directive, and applicable mandatory laws.  
For further information on the warranty, please carefully read the General Sales Conditions which you must expressly accept before purchasing Polaroid Products. 
You may report any Product defect by filling out the form available at the following link.
Our Customer Service department shall promptly contact you and provide you with the necessary instructions to return the purchase.
Upon receiving your Product, Safilo shall replace it with a new one. If your product cannot be replaced, you shall be refunded the full price of the Product and any shipping costs incurred. 
You may only return products purchased exclusively through the e-commerce sites www.polaroideyewear.com. If you purchased your product at a Safilo authorised store, please contact the store to exercise your rights under the warranty. 
 
How to exercise the warranty? 
 
Exercising your warranty is easy! Just follow these steps: 
 
-  Please inform us of the order number and purchase receipt.
-  Fill in the online form for Safilo’s Customer Service with a description of the defect. Please include any photos of the Products as these will be very useful to ascertain the defect. 
-  Please package the Products (preferably in their original packaging, together with any user manuals and any accessories received with the same Product) and attach a copy of the purchase receipt. We kindly ask that you stick the authorisation label sent by our Customer Service department on the packaging.
 
What happens to my return? 
 
The returned products shall be inspected by Quality Control department. As soon as a defect has been ascertained, you shall have the right to have the Product replaced, if it is available. If a new one is not available, you shall be refunded the price of the same. 
The Warranty shall not cover defects resulting from:
 
-  Use of the Product in a manner that is non-compliant with its intended use and/or the instructions of use and maintenance;
-  Modifications, repairs or other unauthorised alterations; or 
-  External causes such as falls, shocks, impact and scratches, etc.
 
In any case, our Customer Service department shall contact you as soon as possible.
